Content Marketing is a phrase used a lot, especially online. It basically means using content for marketing purposes, simple as that. Take for example a chef writing a recipe and posting it on a food blog, the idea is that the reader uses the recipe to go and cook that particular dish, they make use of the content. The Content Marketing approach would be to use that recipe to promote the products and brands that are being used within it, same content, different goals.
Content comes in all shapes and sizes but more often than not it is in form of a blog post or article. It could be an interview or a video or a podcast and could be based on any number of subjects.
