Just a simple bit of advice regarding picking out colour references from images, documents, website pages etc. We use Sip. Simple to use, cheap and works a treat.
You download the app, its $10 for a licence and you are ready to go. Place the magnifier over the colour and snap away. You can then edit and share the colour palettes you create.
