Wondering what these images are all about?
Quick Response (QR) codes are the funny looking square barcodes that you may have seen start to appear in advertising and on websites. They are a quick way for advertisers to give consumers information, usually a link to a website page or a text message.
Don’t be afraid if you see one, you need a smart phone with a suitable app (Search the app store of ‘QR code’) and all you have to do is take a picture rather than write down a URL or discount code. What’s more its then very simple to share with your friends, as easy as sending a text message or email.
There are now plenty of online resources that will allow you to generate QR codes for free, for more information check out this post from Flyte.
